In August 2018, the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) took up the exciting opportunity to administer the CPP award.  As a result of this partnerhsip CPP candidates have access to ACER's resources and support networks. ACER's international research credentials mean principals can be assured that the experience is world-class.

Chief Executive Officer of ACER, Professor Geoff MAsters AO, said ACER and CPP have a shared vision of improving professional practice using an evidence based approach.  "The vision established for CPP is unchanged – to deliver system improvement and improved educational outcomes by building and sustaining the leadership expertise of principals and to enhance the attractiveness of school leadership as a career."
